From
the Malaga airport (2.5 km), follow signs to Malaga. At the first bend (Coca-Cola / Ciudad del Automóvil)
turn left towards San Julián and follow signs to
Guadalmar.
Go under the motorway (A-7/E-15). The Malaga Hotel Picasso is signed
from the Guadalmar roundabout. From Ikea (2 km), take Malaga or airport direction.. Near the Martin Carpena Arena sports centre. Buses
and trains give quick and easy access to the Costa del Sol and the
historic centre of Malaga, where you can visit the impressive cathedral,
the Moor Gibralfaro castle, the Alcazaba and the Roman theatre,
the
Picasso museum and birthplace, and a host of interesting churches and
buildings: the one of San Juan, the one of Santiago, Santo
Domingo, the
Holy Martyrs; the convent of San Agustín and the Episcopal
Palace; and
civil buildings like the Palace of Counts de Buenavista and the House
of
the Consulate. Without forgetting to the Picasso Museum, pride
of the city.
